How We Rate Operators

Each operator listed on Reel Notebook is assessed against twelve fixed criteria. Percentage match scores summarise how closely an operator aligns with the current editorial focus — mobile and app experience — not overall gambling quality.

Data sources

Licence numbers are verified on the UK Gambling Commission public register. Payment methods and withdrawal timelines are checked via operator cashier pages and published help-centre articles. App assessments draw on iOS App Store and Google Play listings, plus hands-on testing on mid-range Android and iPhone devices.

Update schedule

Licence and payment data is re-checked monthly. App store ratings and feature lists are reviewed when a major app update is released. Match scores are recalculated only when underlying data changes materially.
